Account Manager

Overview Account Manager, covering East Coast. PowerPak is growing and we have 2 additional sales positions to fill in the New York Metro Area. Pay: First year on target total compensation is $120,000 with no cap ($70,000 base) but you must have the following sales capabilities: Responsibilities Sell to construction and industrial customers, with a primary objective of growing existing accounts and developing new business. Proactively hunt and establish relationships with decision makers; perform needs assessments and value selling. Meet or exceed sales targets and key performance indicators; manage sales cycle from prospecting to close. Ability to cold-call on the phone and work independently in a satellite location, while collaborating with a small team. Maintain accurate CRM records and update status, forecasts, and activity in a timely manner. Qualifications Two years of prior B2B sales success selling commodities into a highly competitive market. Experience selling industrial or construction supplies is helpful but not required. Familiarity with NetSuite ERP is helpful but not required. Must work in an office 5 days a week in Congers, NY. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong relationship-building and consultative selling abilities. Self-starter, goal-oriented, organized, with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to work independently. Comfortable in an inside sales role with a primary objective of growing existing accounts.
