Equity Staffing Group is seeking a Medical Assistant to support a busy healthcare practice in Carmel, NY. This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused professional with healthcare experience who enjoys creating a positive patient experience from check-in through check-out. Key Responsibilities Rooming, sterile procedure set up and break down, clean and sterilize instruments, patient care hand on and phone, medication refills, provider assistance within scope of practice for medical assistant. Must have qualifications/experience: surgical background Qualifications 1-2 years of healthcare or medical office experience. Experience using Epic electronic medical records preferred. Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced outpatient environment.
