Accounting Clerk

Our customer is a growing landscape management company who is seeking a dependable and organized Accounting Clerk / Administrative Assistant to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple responsibilities, and takes pride in providing excellent administrative and accounting support. Responsibilities Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional and friendly manner. Process Accounts Payable, including matching invoices and preparing payments. Prepare invoices and manage Accounts Receivable collections. Create, track, and maintain purchase orders. Enter and maintain accurate accounting records. Assist with payroll support and other administrative duties as needed. Maintain organized filing systems (electronic and paper). Communicate with vendors, customers, and internal staff regarding invoices, payments, and orders. Provide general office support to management and field operations. Handle multiple priorities while meeting deadlines. Qualifications 2+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, or administrative experience. Experience in the construction, landscape, or related industry is strongly preferred. Proficiency with QuickBooks or similar accounting software (Sage, Foundation, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.). Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and purchase order processing. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Outlook, and Word. Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail. Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Reliable, dependable, and punctual. Positive attitude with a willingness to support the team wherever needed.
