This contract opportunity begins on August 24, 2026, and extends through June 7, 2027, offering the rewarding chance to guide students over the academic year. With a weekly schedule of 37.5 hours, you'll contribute your expertise within a single building—fostering connections with staff and students alike.

This assignment includes two specialized caseloads:

• One classroom focused on serving 9-12 students with multiple disabilities, including autism, non-verbal, and physical impairments.
• One classroom supporting 10-15 students with emotional disabilities, emphasizing proactive behavior support, social-emotional skill-building, and crisis intervention.

Your key qualifications and experience:

• Active and valid licensure as a Special Education Teacher in accordance with state requirements.
• Experience in teaching and supporting students with multiple and emotional disabilities preferred.
• Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs, BIPs, and adapting curriculum materials.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship-building abilities.
• Understanding of crisis intervention techniques and sensory or behavioral strategies.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Designing and delivering specialized instruction aligned with individual students’ needs.
• Leading and implementing behavior and academic interventions.
• Collaboratively working with paraprofessionals and related service providers.
• Maintaining comprehensive student records, progress data, and compliance documentation.
• Communicating regularly with families, administration, and support teams.
