Role Description This is a full‑time, on‑site Home Improvement Sales Representative role based in Madison Heights, MI. The Home Improvement Sales Representative will meet with residential customers, assess roofing and gutter needs, and present tailored solutions and product options. Daily responsibilities include conducting in‑home consultations, preparing estimates, explaining services and installation processes, and following up with prospective customers. The role involves managing a sales pipeline, coordinating with installation teams, and ensuring a smooth handoff from sale to project completion. The representative will also support local marketing efforts, attend community or industry events as needed, and maintain accurate records in the company’s CRM. Qualifications Strong consultative sales skills, including relationship‑building, needs assessment, and closing techniques. Customer service skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly and build trust with homeowners. Basic knowledge of roofing, gutters, or home improvement products, or willingness to learn quickly through training. Ability to read and interpret estimates, proposals, and project documentation accurately. Comfort with using CRM systems, mobile apps, and standard office software for tracking leads and sales activity. Reliable transportation and ability to travel locally to customer homes and job sites. Strong time management, organization, and follow‑up skills to manage multiple leads and appointments. High school diploma or equivalent; experience in home improvement, construction, or residential sales is a plus. Ability to work on‑site, including visiting roofs and exterior areas safely in varying weather conditions.
