This position is based near Goose Creek, SC, with assignments conveniently located within the local school community. Beginning August 5th, 2026, and running through June 4th, 2027, you’ll be fulfilling an essential role for 37.5 hours per week, interacting onsite with students and staff who greatly value your expertise.

What We’re Seeking:

• Valid South Carolina Psychology License (SC PSYCH LICENSE) required
• Proven experience as a school psychologist, special education teacher, or related professional within an educational setting
• Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention abilities
• Ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, and fellow educators
• Adaptability and a proactive approach to a dynamic school environment

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments for students referred for special education services
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Provide both direct support and consultative services to students, staff, and families
• Offer crisis intervention as needed and participate in student support meetings
• Maintain accurate documentation in line with district and state requirements
• Serve as a trusted resource for psychological insights, guidance, and advocacy within the school setting
