Director of Client Services

The Role The Director of Client Services is the senior owner of Global3's client relationships. With dozens of active engagements spanning production accounts, proof-of-concept evaluations, and new business discussions, Global3 is looking for a strategic leader who wakes up every morning thinking about the health of every client relationship and has the organizational skill to ensure nothing falls through the cracks. This role will manage an effective a team of Client Services Representatives and reports directly to the Chief Product Officer. The DCS serves as the senior point of escalation for client issues, the connective tissue between client needs and Global3's production and engineering teams, and a key contributor to the operational foundations that will allow our client services practice to scale. A significant part of this role is also coaching and elevating a talented, entrepreneurial client services team and helping them grow into confident, independent account managers. This is not a purely executional role. The right person combines sharp account management instincts with strategic thinking. They can run a weekly client review, help remove a production blocker, and redesign an onboarding process in the same week. Key Responsibilities Own the client engagement portfolio across all active accounts: productions, POCs, and new business opportunities Maintain and evolve the client engagement tracker, ensuring accurate status, next steps, and ownership for every account Conduct weekly client review meetings with the CSR team; assign, delegate, and follow up on all open action items Drive commercial opportunity reviews, working with the C-Suite to convert leads into real business Proactively identify accounts at risk; whether from missed communications, delivery issues, or stalled conversations and install the systems to remediate before any problems escalated Serve as the senior escalation point for client issues before they reach the founders Client Relationships Build and maintain direct relationships with key senior contacts at Global3's key accounts Lead or support high-stakes client communications including contract discussions, scope expansions, issue resolution, and executive-level check-ins Represent Global3 in client meetings, calls, and on-site visits where a senior client services presence is required Work closely with founders on new business conversations that require client services context or continuity Manage, mentor, and develop the current team of Client Services Representatives, building their skills in account management, communication, and problem solving Define clear ownership and accountability across the CSR team: each account should have a named owner with clear responsibilities Build a team culture of proactive communication: no client should be waiting for a response, and no action item should be dropped Identify hiring needs and contribute to building the client services team as the portfolio grows Internal Coordination & Process Act as the primary bridge between client commitments and internal production, engineering, and quality teams, translating client needs into clear internal actions Build repeatable bidding, onboarding, account management, and escalation playbooks that reduce dependency on founder involvement and enable the team to scale Coordinate with the Director of Operations on production capacity, delivery timelines, and SLA adherence Surface recurring client feedback patterns to the product and engineering teams to inform the product roadmap What We’re Looking For 7+ years of experience in client services, account management, or client success with at least 2-3 years in a senior or director-level role managing a team Experience in localization of media, entertainment or a related content industry - you understand how studios and streaming platforms work, and you can hold a credible conversation with a VP of Localization at any of the Streamers, Studios or Content Owners Demonstrated ability to manage a large, complex portfolio of client relationships simultaneously without losing detail or responsiveness A builder mentality: you are comfortable stepping into an environment without established playbooks and creating structure from scratch Strong leadership presence: your team follows your direction, clients trust your judgment, and internal stakeholders see you as a reliable partner Exceptionally organized with high attention to detail: you track everything, forget nothing, and create systems so others can do the same Clear, confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills Nice to Have Experience managing client relationships through active POC or pilot evaluations, particularly in a technology or AI product context Familiarity with media localization workflows: dubbing, subtitling, audio description, captions and QC Prior experience at a fast-growing startup or scale-up where processes were still being built Experience with CRM tools, project management systems, or client engagement trackers Multi-lingual capabilities are a strong bonus Why Global3 An opportunity to own and shape the entire client services function at a company working with the world's most recognizable entertainment brands Direct partnership with the founding team with real influence on how the business grows A genuinely interesting product at the frontier of AI and creative media, with clients that are making high-stakes decisions based on what we build and deliver A collaborative, ambitious team that moves fast and holds itself to high standards Access to cutting-edge AI tools and a culture of continuous learning Competitive compensation commensurate with experience Global3 is an equal opportunity employer.
