FULLY REMOTE FROM ANYWHERE (within USA).
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Insurance Assistant Underwriter for a fully remote role that can be based out of anywhere USA. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the commercial insurance executive team.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Commercial Lines Executive team across a variety of job functions.
- Assist in reviewing policies and working with carriers, as well as billing and invoicing.
- Analyze client insurance programs and recommend appropriate coverage enhancements or adjustments
- Identify gaps in coverage including account rounding, cross selling and upselling opportunities.
- Identify pricing discrepancies
- Help prepare proposals
- Help process policy endorsements, certificates of insurance, and other administrative tasks accurately and efficiently
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and development of new insurance products to identify potential business opportunities
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current property and casualty license
- 1-2+ Years of experience preferred in commercial underwriting related role
- Background in assistant underwriting or assistant account management with a strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and coverages
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with colleagues
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- AIM & Imageright experience preferred
