Part-Time Medical Receptionist

Location Dallas, TX | Onsite

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE

• $17.00 – $20.00 per hour

• Part-Time | 3 days per week | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• Schedule rotation: One position works Monday, Wednesday, Thursday; the other works Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday

• Temp-to-hire | Immediate start available

ROLE IMPACT

The Part-Time Medical Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for patients in a growing specialty healthcare practice. This role ensures smooth front office operations, accurate patient intake, and a positive patient experience. Success is defined by efficient scheduling, accurate insurance and payment processing, and professional, patient-centered service.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors, providing professional and courteous assistance upon arrival

• Answer multi-line phone system and respond to patient inquiries

• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments

• Perform patient check-in and check-out procedures

• Collect and verify insurance information and copays

• Process payments accurately and maintain financial records

• Maintain and update electronic medical records (EMR – Electronic Medical Records)

• Support general administrative and front office functions

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Medical Receptionist experience in a healthcare or medical office setting

• Experience using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems

• Strong communication skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced, patient-facing environment

Preferred Skills

• Bilingual - Spanish

• Strong attention to detail and professional demeanor
