Medical Assistant (Creede & South Fork)

Medical Assistant full-time needed in Creede and South Fork!

Work 7:00 AM to 5:00PM four days a week (4–10 hour shifts).

2 days in South Fork and 2 days in Creede.

The Medical Assistant will manage both administrative and clinical responsibilities, ensuring efficient patient flow and aiding healthcare professionals in providing top-notch care. They will support physicians in the clinic by assisting with direct patient care, conducting exams, and contributing to treatment plans.

The role also includes preparing patients and helping physicians with minor surgical and medical procedures.

Additionally, the Medical Assistant will perform moderately complex diagnostic lab procedures and offer limited radiology services, along with other assigned tasks.

CPR Equipment Knowledge.

Excellent Computer Skills, Copy Machine and Fax Machine, Printers, Cardiac Monitoring Equipment, and Electronic Health Records

Education

High School Diploma, Graduate from an MA Program

Must have verbal skills to present information and ideas essential to supervisory duties and to understand general nursing theory and practice; capable of dealing with people and working closely with patients; workable knowledge of safety procedures; must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language; must have patience and enthusiasm as well as the willingness and ability to handle difficult situations with good nursing judgment; must be able to work as a team member; must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures and regulations pertaining to Critical Access Hospitals or a willingness to learn.

Wage range: $ 15.00 to $21.00 depending on experience.
