Email Marketing Coordinator

Role Description

Are you a detail-oriented and creative individual with a knack for crafting engaging messages and a passion for sports and collectibles? Players Pins, a rapidly growing sports collectibles brand, is seeking an enthusiastic Email Marketing Coordinator to develop, execute, and optimize our email marketing campaigns. You will play a crucial role in nurturing leads, driving customer engagement, and promoting our unique, patent-pending collectible sports pins directly to our audience.

This role will report directly to the Marketing Manager.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage email marketing campaigns from conception to execution, including newsletters, promotional offers, and automated flows.
• Write compelling, clear, and concise email copy that aligns with the Players Pins brand voice and drives action.
• Design and optimize email templates for various campaigns, ensuring mobile responsiveness and visual appeal.
• Segment email lists and personalize content to target different audience groups effectively.
• Conduct A/B testing on subject lines, content, calls-to-action, and send times to improve campaign performance.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on key email marketing metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, etc.), providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
• Manage the email marketing calendar, ensuring timely delivery of campaigns and adherence to promotional schedules.
• Collaborate with the marketing, creative, and sales teams to ensure email content is integrated with broader marketing strategies and brand messaging.
• Stay up-to-date with email marketing best practices, industry trends, and platform changes.
• Ensure email campaigns comply with data privacy regulations (e.g., CAN-SPAM, GDPR).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 1+ years of experience in email marketing or digital marketing, with hands-on experience using email marketing platforms (Klaviyo).
• Proven ability to write engaging and effective marketing copy.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions for campaign optimization.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Basic understanding of Shopify for email template customization is a plus.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• A genuine passion for sports, collectibles, pop culture, or fashion.

Requirements

• Compensation: $30,000 - $45,000. Competitive salary commensurate with experience.

Players Pins is a small company that has revamped the tired sport pins of the past with a new patent pending collectible product. The company was founded in San Diego in 2022.

• Clients include 60+ professional sports: San Diego Padres, Texas Rangers, Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bulls, Cincinnati Reds, Anaheim Ducks, Vancouver Canucks, Vegas Golden Knights, Brooklyn Nets, NY Mets, Dallas Mavericks, LA Kings, Sacramento Kings, and many more.
• Currently holds the NBA, NBPA, CLC licenses.
