That’s why we’re looking for a detail‑oriented Environmental, Health, and Safety Coordinator to join us. In this position, you’ll implement policies and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment. The EH&S Coordinator’s role is to prevent and eliminate injury and illness to employees and comply with safety laws. You will inspect the facility and minimize or eliminate hazards associated with processes, such as incorrect working methods and materials, including potentially toxic chemicals. Daily tasks will include: Help create safety policies and procedures that affect all North America locations, along with working to create this on a global scale with EU locations Establish a culture of safety, along with ensuring continuous EHS improvements Coach, lead, train, and motivate all employees to achieve EHS objectives in a timely and safe manner, while continuously striving to improve safety skills and awareness Assist in planning, directing, and coordinating EHS compliance activities through safety teams with direction from the Facilities manager and Safety Lead and support safety initiatives and processes to enable an injury‑free workplace Maintain and update safety metrics along with tracking all North America safety incidents for reporting on applicable logs, e.g., 300 and 300A logs. Responsible for directing accident/incident investigations, identifying root causes of EHS incidents, and executing sustainable corrective actions Identify and develop good working relationships with federal, state, and local authorities Develop, coordinate, and/or conduct EHS training programs Coordinate and assist in the execution of capital projects related to EHS to ensure compliance with requirements, along with completion on a timely basis Assist in providing information for Worker's Compensation requests (incident investigations) Responsible for driving processes that will result in a reduction of accidents and injuries, and the identification of potential hazards or near misses present in the workplace Conduct daily safety walk‑throughs of the facilities to discover items that need to be addressed Provide recommendations and solutions for improving safety to the Facilities manager and Safety, along with other key leadership positions Investigate accidents and incidents that occur onsite to identify root causes, propose solutions, and create action plans Create and maintain safety procedure documentation relating to accidents and incidents, along with safety‑related SOPs Serve as a member of the facility emergency response team In this role, we’ll expect you to: Results‑driven and accountable for actions Ability to work independently Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Leadership and organizational skills Exceptional interpersonal skills Ability to make good decisions under pressure Ethical Conduct Punctuality and Efficiency Reliability Sense of Urgency Time Management Ability to work weekends and off‑shifts as needed 1+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment Experience with spreadsheets, slides, and word‑processing programs; Google Docs experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking and presentation Understanding of OSHA, NFPA, federal, state, and city safety requirements Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while at the same time meeting deadlines Knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, ANSI, and EPA regulations and reporting requirements Must be highly organized; able to prioritize and meet target dates in a fast‑paced environment Sound leadership coaching skills What we offer: Competitive pay and benefits: health, dental, vision, and life insurance Unlimited PTO (as per company policy) 401k with company match Free coffee and snacks Personal and professional development opportunities A fun and engaging position in a fast‑paced environment A global, inclusive team that’s as supportive as it is ambitious and serious about getting things done An opportunity to work in a modern fulfillment facility Exciting team‑building events and parties you’ll never forget!
