TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Cleveland, Ohio, 44195!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Step Down Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day and Night rotating shifts Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 12 months permanent experience in the specialty License: Permanent Ohio license or compact license required in hand at time of submission Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: - One reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty - Active certifications in hand at the time of submission - Travelers must float to designated units as needed Description: Caring for patients in a step-down unit, providing post-operative and critical care. Travelers may be required to float to other units to manage similar patient populations. Shifts are 7pm to 7:30am and 7am to 7:30pm, with possible variable scheduling. All travelers must work at least every other holiday. Completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation is required with acceptable scores. Candidates with any background checks will be reviewed and will not be accepted with open cases. An exemption for nicotine-free requirements is temporarily available for nurses and certain roles. Annual and pre-start modules are required for compliance. Continuous contract candidates must complete annual hands-on competency requirements if applicable. All required documentation must be completed within specified time frames.
