Work Environment

Your work will be performed onsite within our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center, equipped with the latest technology and tools for patient assessment and treatment. You will join a dedicated team of two other physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA), all focused on delivering high-quality patient care. Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Physical Therapist at our center, your day-to-day tasks will encompass:

• Conducting thorough assessments to identify each patient's physical capabilities and rehabilitation needs.
• Developing and implementing evidence-based care plans tailored to individual patient objectives, ensuring the use of diverse treatment techniques that promote mobility and function.
• Managing a dedicated caseload with a focus on efficiency, typically treating one patient per hour while delivering customized therapeutic interventions.
• Utilizing manual therapy and therapeutic exercises in a manner that minimizes dependence on medication and avoids surgical interventions.
• Motivating and educating patients throughout their treatment process to enhance their commitment to rehabilitation and maximize functional outcomes.
• Monitoring patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary, and maintaining accurate documentation of all services rendered using electronic medical record (EMR) systems like WebPT.
• Collaborating with other healthcare providers to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care, thereby optimizing treatment outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work primarily with patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Our clientele is primarily composed of individuals covered by private insurance, presenting a diverse range of cases that offer unique challenges and rewarding outcomes. You will support patients of all ages who are eager to improve their quality of life through effective physical therapy interventions.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, you must possess:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in New Jersey, with no disciplinary actions against your license.
• Expertise in manual therapy techniques and the development of exercise regimens adeptly tailored to the patient's needs.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, to enhance documentation efficiency and facilitate patient tracking.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with prior experience in orthopedic outpatient settings will have a distinct advantage. Familiarity with evidence-based practice models and a proactive approach to patient care is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
