HR Asst (CFFM Case Managers)

Hardship Case AdvisorWe are seeking a compassionate and highly analytical Hardship Case Advisor to support employees navigating challenging life events and personal hardships. In this role, you will review sensitive cases, assess individual circumstances, and determine appropriate solutions, resources, and support options.This position is ideal for professionals with backgrounds in Human Resources, Employee Relations, Case Management, Leave Administration, Employee Advocacy, Crisis Support, or similar fields who are passionate about helping people while making thoughtful, objective decisions.Success in this role requires strong judgment, empathy, critical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to manage sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.Key ResponsibilitiesReview and manage employee hardship cases from intake through resolution.Evaluate complex situations involving housing instability, family emergencies, bereavement, safety concerns, financial hardship, and other life challenges.Assess risk factors and apply established guidelines to determine appropriate outcomes and support options.Connect employees with relevant resources and services based on their individual circumstances.Maintain accurate case documentation while ensuring confidentiality and data privacy.Partner with internal stakeholders to resolve complex cases and remove barriers to support.Exercise independent judgment and make informed decisions in sensitive situations.Manage a high volume of cases in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and accuracy.Navigate multiple systems and tools to research, document, and process case activity.QualificationsBachelor's degree required.3+ years of experience in Human Resources, Employee Relations, Case Management, Employee Support Services, Leave Administration, Social Services, Crisis Support, or a related field.Experience handling confidential and sensitive information.Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Comfortable navigating multiple systems and tools simultaneously.Strong attention to detail and sound judgment.Preferred ExperienceEmployee RelationsLeave of Absence AdministrationEmployee Advocacy ProgramsCrisis Intervention or Support ServicesCase ManagementWorkplace Safety or Escalations SupportWhat Makes Someone Successful in This Role?Empathy balanced with objectivityStrong decision-making and risk assessment skillsAbility to remain calm and professional in emotionally sensitive situationsExcellent organizational and case management abilitiesHigh level of discretion and confidentialityCommitment to providing a positive employee experienceThis opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful impact by helping employees navigate challenging circumstances while contributing to a team focused on support, care, and thoughtful decision-making.Job Type & Location: This is a Contract position based out of Dallas, TX.Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
