Staff Accountant/Bookkeeper

Accounting Specialist / Bookkeeper Established company seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional to support daily financial operations in a full-time capacity. This position involves a broad range of accounting and bookkeeping responsibilities, including payables, receivables, reconciliations, reporting, and general ledger support. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, experience with accounting software, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Process supplier invoices and inventory-related documentation Support payment processing and vendor account management Prepare and post journal entries Assist with monthly closing activities Review sales activity, costs, and profitability reporting Maintain and update pricing information Reconcile bank accounts and company credit cards Record and verify deposits Support reconciliation of financial records and reports Generate customer account statements Provide assistance with day-to-day accounting operations Manage multiple assignments while meeting deadlines Qualifications Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience required Experience with accounting software platforms Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel Excellent analytical and organizational abilities Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently Strong attention to detail and accuracy Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation package based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits that may include health coverage, retirement plans, and paid time off.
