About the job Ensure accurate, efficient clearance of goods for allocated clients and to ensure correct duty paid by those clients having regard to Customs Tariff Acts and Regulations. Classification of goods based on Customs Regulations and through Customs Tariff, Tariff Concessions and FTA. Classification and lodging Tariff Advices. Maintain Database for clients and Hellmann. Discuss day to day problems with Customs Brokers. Taking appropriate corrective action to prevent recurrence of non-conformances. Prepare and review Customs documentation Compile data into the system based on the latest Customs and Quarantine requirements. Responsibility for completing a Skills Inventory and to ensure that all training received is recorded on personal Training Inventory. Suggest new ideas to Customs Brokers. Other duties as may be specified by your Customs Manager. Liaise with Australian Border Force, Quarantine and other regulatory bodies to facilitate the customs clearance process and resolve issue that may arise. Provide exceptional customer service with internal and external stakeholders by addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues and ensuring customer satisfaction. Other tasks and responsibilities which may be assigned as and when required by your supervisor / manager The Import Departments and Warehouse in order to provide clients with clearance and delivery within specified transit time. About you We will help you be successful in this role.
