A leading pharmacy in the Chicago area is seeking experienced per diem pharmacists to support high-volume retail operations. This role demands a dynamic and adaptable professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, utilizing technology to enhance workflow and patient care.

Schedule:

• Friday, 3/20, 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM
• Tuesday, 3/24, 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM
• Friday, 3/27, 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM
• Tuesday, 3/31, 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and intake prescriptions accurately and efficiently
• Dispense medications and perform thorough checks and verifications
• Manage inventory and respond to patient inquiries
• Collaborate closely with technician support to maintain smooth pharmacy operations
• Utilize Pioneer Rx software and work seamlessly with automation and dispensing robots

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a high-volume retail pharmacy setting
• Familiarity with pharmacy automation and dispensing robots is strongly preferred
• Strong teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with pharmacy staff
• Tech-savvy with a solid understanding of pharmacy software systems
• Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to changing workflow demands and priorities
• Valid Illinois Pharmacist License
