Mechanical Project Manager

A nationally recognized mechanical construction company is looking for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to manage large commercial and industrial projects.


The company handles a wide range of mechanical work, including HVAC, plumbing, controls, building automation, engineering, and prefabrication . Projects include healthcare facilities, schools, high rise buildings, industrial facilities, and other large commercial projects.

What You’ll Do

As a Mechanical Project Manager, you’ll oversee projects from the beginning of construction through completion. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Manage project budgets, costs, and financial performance
• Build and maintain project schedules
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams
• Handle RFIs, submittals, change orders, and pay applications
• Communicate with customers, general contractors, and project teams
• Make sure projects stay on schedule and within budget
• Help ensure safety and quality standards are met
• Work closely with engineering, fabrication, and field teams

What They’re Looking For

• 5+ years of commercial mechanical project management experience
• Experience managing larger HVAC and/or plumbing projects
• Strong understanding of construction schedules and project finances
• Experience using project management software
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
• Ability and willingness to travel approximately 25% to 50%
