Vice President of Operations

MedBest is conducting a confidential search for a Vice President of Operations to join a growing, financially backed senior living organization. This is a significant leadership opportunity for an accomplished senior living operator who knows how to drive property performance, develop strong regional leaders, and translate strategy into execution. The Opportunity: Reporting directly to executive leadership, this is not a behind the desk type of role. We are looking for a leader who stays close to the communities, understands what is happening at the property level, and is willing to roll up their sleeves when needed. The right executive will be equally comfortable developing strategy in the boardroom and walking a community alongside an Executive Director. We're Looking for a Leader Who: Has a proven track record of improving occupancy, revenue, financial results, quality, and overall community performance Has significant multi-site senior living operations leadership experience Can think strategically while also being an exceptional executor Knows how to recruit, coach, mentor, and develop high-performing regional teams and operational leaders Leads with high emotional intelligence, humility, honesty, and transparency Thrives in a highly collaborative environment and works effectively alongside Clinical, Sales, and other functional leaders Remains visible and connected to communities, residents, and frontline leadership Is comfortable owning mistakes, addressing challenges directly, and finding solutions Brings a genuine hustle mentality and leads by example Is attracted to the organization's culture, growth trajectory, and opportunity to make an impact This organization has grown, but its leadership is determined to preserve the people-first mentality.
