Job Title

Responsible for planning, selecting, and purchasing materials, supplies and services.

Job Description

Essential duties and responsibilities include:

• Purchasing materials, supplies, and services at the most favorable terms for the organization.
• Qualifying vendors, evaluating bids and negotiating prices and terms for purchased goods and services.
• Tracking purchases, monitoring vendors quality, and maintaining a current database.
• Expediting daily repair purchasing activity, including limited price negotiation, quote approvals, and delivery schedule.
• Coordinating with the sales team to fulfill customer needs, expediting, warranty resolution, order status and other relating information.
• Responsible for compiling information and analysis as required.
• Prioritizing repair order activity in support of established business objectives.
• Expediting products/services to ensure they are delivered within schedule.
• Responsibility for non-conformance resolution.
• Initiating various shipment requests.
• Assisting the relevant repair administrator in preparing purchase orders if required.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree or equivalent and at least 2-4 years of relevant experience.

Skills and Abilities

Excellent negotiation skills, knowledge of procurement practices and procedures, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
