Job Position Recruiting Coordinator Organization The Master's Apprentice Mission The Master's Apprentice is a 501(C)(3), faith-based, nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming lives in overlooked communities by offering a bridge to a career in the skilled trades. Program Overview The Master’s Apprentice is a faith-based ministry offering a free, 6-week, full-time pre-apprenticeship program. It is designed to help motivated individuals from low-income backgrounds begin careers in high-demand trades such as Carpentry, HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Pipefitting, and Renewable Energy. Students receive hands‑on training, industry exposure, and durable skills development. This includes work ethics, teamwork, and construction math. Students gain the foundation needed to succeed in the trades. Students graduate with professional resumes, industry certifications, and direct connections to employers. Through access to trade professionals and dedicated job placement support, The Master’s Apprentice prepares students to successfully begin a career in the construction industry. Position Overview The primary goal of the Recruiting Coordinator is to maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified applicants to meet program enrollment targets. This role supports the recruitment of 90+ qualified applicants every 8 weeks across six class sessions annually. The Recruiting Coordinator executes daily, high-volume recruiting activities, including calls, follow-ups, and interviews, to move applicants from inquiry through enrollment. Outreach is supported by social media and digital marketing efforts to drive applicant flow. This role directly supports the organization’s mission of connecting low-income, underserved individuals to career pathways in the skilled trades. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions. In support of the Recruiting Manager, execute daily outreach activities including pre‑screen calls, texts, and follow‑ups to move prospective applicants from inquiry to interview and enrollment. Utilize CRM systems to track, manage, and maintain the applicant pipeline from initial contact through enrollment. Assist in collecting and reviewing potential student applications to ensure all required documentation is complete, including proof of GED or diploma, driver’s license and US work eligibility. Conduct in‑person interviews to assess applicant readiness and program fit. Attend and support class orientations prior to the start of each cohort to ensure a smooth transition into the program. Participate in job fairs, community events, and outreach efforts to promote the program and connect with potential applicants, as directed. Attend graduation ceremonies in support of students and their families. Supervisory Responsibilities None. Competencies Candidate must be a committed Christian and support the ministry’s statement of faith, with demonstrated effectiveness in a ministry setting. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Excellent follow‑through and strong organization skills. Demonstrates initiative and problem‑solving in support of the organization’s mission. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience using CRM systems preferred. Construction trades knowledge preferred. 0-1 years of recruitment experience preferred. 0-1 years of experience working with disadvantaged youth and low‑income populations preferred. Work Environment Moderate noise level. Dusty conditions at times. Work near moving mechanical parts at times. Physical Demands Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. Sitting Standing Walking Reaching Kneeling Talking Hearing Travel Required Occasional travel to job fairs or other events. Work Schedule & Environment Full‑time position requiring a flexible schedule with occasional evening and weekend work. Help maintain a shared office, classrooms, and workshop. Workdays are Monday through Friday generally from 8 AM to 4 PM. Work Authorization Individuals hired for the position will be required to produce valid employment authorization documents for the completion of form I9. FLSA Classification Non‑exempt Work Hours Full Time - 40 hours a week Reports To Recruiting Manager Compensation $21.50-$26.50 per hour ($45,000 - $55,000 annual) Depending on Experience Benefits 401(k) matchup to 4%. Employee only health insurance is fully employer paid. Dental and vision plans are offered but not employer covered. Life insurance. Employee Assistance Program. 15 days of paid time off, beginning on the first day of employment. Paid holidays include New Years Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day. Mileage reimbursement.
