Billing Associate- Washington, PA

The Billing Associate in our Washington, PA office will perform billing functions which require invoicing customers, processing payments, updating records and collaborating with other employees in their department.

• Review and validate daily delivery paperwork to finalize invoices
• Process billing in an accurate and timely manner as required on a daily/weekly/monthly basis
• Prepare and submit invoices to customers via multiple methods of delivery (mail, email, portal entry)
• Independently research and correct any invoice discrepancies within a timely manner
• Identify and resolve delinquent invoices
• Maintain and manage daily paperwork (scanning BOLS, etc.) in an organized manner
• Enter 3rd party BOLS into billing system
• Answer customer billing questions in a timely and professional manner
• Review cash/check payments, prepare for deposit, and process bank transactions accordingly
• Contact customers regarding short payments, etc.
• Assist with collection processes as needed
• Cross-train within the department to cover functions as needed (i.e. card lock processes)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Customer Service, Sales, Operations) to drive customer satisfaction
• Other duties as assigned

Qualified candidates for this role will have the following:

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred
• 2 years of billing experience required
• High attention to detail with the ability to multitask
• Ability to problem solve and own a task from start to finish
• Works well under pressure and with deadlines
• Must have Microsoft Office experience (Excel, Word, Teams, etc.)
• Ability to work overtime as needed
