Opportunity Summary

Our client is a semiconductor technology company developing high-speed interface solutions used in next-generation computing and data infrastructure. This is a 6-month contract opportunity for an experienced Mixed Signal & Analog Circuit Engineer to contribute to the architecture and design of critical high-speed I/O building blocks, working alongside a global engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Architect and design high-speed I/O circuit blocks including TX, PLL, CDR, Analog Front-End (AFE/CTLE), and DFE
• Conduct feasibility studies for new interface building blocks by researching and analyzing state-of-the-art implementations
• Perform hands-on lab measurement and serial link characterization
• Present architecture and design reviews of key circuits to internal team members and counterpart teams at headquarters
• Analyze existing circuit implementations to identify improvement opportunities
• Collaborate cross-functionally to validate design feasibility and performance targets

Qualifications Required:

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or higher
• 5+ years of mixed-signal circuit design experience
• Hands-on experience with PLL, DLL, CDR, DFE, TX, or analog front-end (AFE/CTLE) circuits
• Experience with lab measurement and serial link characterization
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred:

• Experience presenting design reviews to cross-functional and international teams
• Track record of resourceful, self-directed problem-solving on novel circuit challenges
• Experience collaborating with global engineering counterparts
