Registered Nurse (RN) – Nursing Float Pool (Full Time Night) at Jersey City Medical Center. Pay: $46.47 – $64.93 per hour. Shift: Night (7:00 pm–7:00 am). Facility: Jersey City Medical Center, 355 Grand St., Jersey City, NJ. Job Overview Since 1882, Jersey City Medical Center has provided advanced medical treatment across a broad spectrum of disciplines. This role provides extraordinary care to patients across all populations, including trauma, neurology, cardiology, orthopedics, oncology, and alcohol withdrawal. The RN will deliver quality nursing care in collaboration with the medical staff, following the New Jersey State Nurse Practice Act and the Hospital’s mission and goals. Nursing care will be individualized, age‑specific, and in accordance with performance‑improvement activities. Required Certifications and Licenses Active NJ RN License or Multistate RN License with NJ Endorsement BLS certification through American Heart Association Graduate from an accredited NLN School of Nursing Scheduling Requirements Night shift 7:00 pm – 7:00 am Full time; every other weekend required; schedule may vary within the department as needed Essential Functions Provide quality nursing care in collaboration with the medical staff and following state and hospital guidelines. Implement the hospital’s mission, goals, and performance‑improvement activities. Administer individualized, age‑specific nursing care and determine treatment modalities based on growth and development principles.
