Automotive Shop manager

Shop Operations Oversee all day-to-day shop operations to ensure smooth, efficient workflow Manage vehicle flow from check-in through delivery to maximize productivity and minimize downtime Lead, train, coach, and motivate technicians, foremen, and service advisors Hold team members accountable to performance, quality, and productivity standards Conduct daily meetings, workflow reviews, and performance check-ins Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and disciplinary actions when necessary Service Standards Ensure all repairs, diagnostics, and inspections meet company and industry standards Review work orders for accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation Assist with difficult diagnostics or repair decisions when needed Enforce proper use of tools, equipment, and shop procedures Customer Support Support service advisors with customer concerns, and complex explanations Ensure clear communication between the front office and technicians Maintain high customer satisfaction and handle any issues professionally Ensure vehicles are delivered on time and repaired right the first time Performance & Profitability Monitor efficiency, and overall shop profitability Work with ownership to meet and exceed monthly and yearly performance goals Control expenses, comebacks, and warranty work Track and report shop performance metrics Safety & Environment Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop environment Ensure compliance with safety regulations and shop policies Oversee maintenance of shop equipment and tools Enforce shop cleanliness, appearance, and professionalism #J-18808-Ljbffr One Way Automotive
