Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and compassionate assessments of clients to understand their mental health needs, formulate accurate clinical diagnoses, and develop personalized treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Solution-Focused Therapy, to facilitate individual, group, or family therapy sessions.

• Provide timely crisis intervention strategies to assist clients experiencing acute mental health issues, ensuring immediate support and stabilization.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential client documentation, including treatment plans, progress notes, and assessment results, adhering strictly to ethical and legal standards.

• Partner collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team of professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated client care.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, therapeutic options, and community resources, advocating effectively for their rights and needs.

• Continuously enhance your knowledge and skills by engaging in professional development, attending workshops, and participating in relevant training programs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals of varying ages, including children, adolescents, and adults, who are dealing with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and other mental health challenges. Your approach will be tailored and sensitive to the unique cultural and contextual factors that influence your clients’ experiences.

Qualifications\n

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, LCSW-R) in New York State.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field with a focus on mental health.

• Demonstrated clinical assessment and diagnostic capabilities.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and empathy skills to establish rapport and effective therapeutic relationships.

• Proficiency in working autonomously while also collaborating effectively within a team environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 85,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
