Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations during initial consultations, documenting insights and client history to inform treatment approaches.

• Develop personalized intervention plans that address the unique needs of individuals, couples, and families, fostering a tailored therapeutic experience.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities to assist clients in achieving their mental health goals.

• Monitor client progress through regular assessments and follow-up sessions, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and primary care physicians, to coordinate comprehensive care for clients experiencing complex mental health challenges.

• Actively follow up with clients who require hospitalization or additional support services after assessments or interventions.

• Educate and support family members and caregivers in understanding mental health issues and strategies for promoting recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in New York State, reflecting your professional qualifications.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Demonstrated proficiency in using electronic health record systems, preferably AVATAR, to streamline administrative processes.

• In-depth understanding of mental health counseling principles, treatments, and ethical considerations within a telehealth context.

• Effective communication skills, both written and oral, to engage clients and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, along with a generous sign-on bonus.
