Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth preliminary interviews and maintain comprehensive documentation of each client's case from initial intake through treatment completion.

• Assess clients' mental, behavioral, and emotional health to identify key areas of concern and development.

• Create tailored intervention and recovery plans for a diverse client base, including individuals, couples, families, and groups.

• Facilitate and guide individual and group therapy sessions, using evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities.

• Monitor clients' progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and communicate regularly with clients about their development.

• Collaborate actively with other mental health professionals such as psychiatrists, doctors, nurses, and social workers to ensure integrated care.

• Identify and address behaviors that may hinder recovery, utilizing therapeutic techniques to encourage positive lifestyle changes.

• Support family members and primary caregivers by providing resources and strategies to manage behavioral health challenges.

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse clientele that presents a range of mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and substance use disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New York.

• A passing score on the NCE or NCMHCE is necessary for eligibility.

• Previous counseling experience, demonstrating an ability to work empathetically with patients.

Preferred Experience\n

• Proficiency with electronic health record systems such as AVATAR.

• Experience and familiarity with a wide range of emotional health issues, addiction disorders, and their treatments.

• Knowledge of standards and best practices as outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• Strong understanding of the pharmacological treatments prescribed by medical professionals and their implications.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary package ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
