We Are Looking for an Exceptional General Manager

INFINITI of Novi is seeking a highly motivated, results-driven General Manager to lead our dealership to the next level.

We are not looking for someone to simply maintain a dealership. We are looking for a proven automotive leader who knows how to build a high-performing team, increase sales volume, maximize profitability, and create an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Revenue Growth

• Drive aggressive growth in new and pre-owned vehicle sales.
• Develop and execute strategies to increase market share and dealership profitability.
• Establish daily, weekly, and monthly performance objectives.
• Maximize front-end and back-end gross profit while maintaining a competitive customer experience.
• Lead digital retailing, internet sales, and lead conversion strategies.
• Maintain disciplined inventory management, pricing, and vehicle turn.

Leadership & Team Development

• Recruit, train, develop, and retain high-performing employees.
• Create a winning culture built on accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Hold department managers accountable for measurable results.
• Conduct daily sales meetings and performance reviews.
• Lead by example with a strong presence on the showroom floor.
• Develop future leaders through coaching and internal promotion.

Financial & Operational Performance

• Take full responsibility for dealership financial performance and profitability.
• Manage departmental budgets, expenses, and operational efficiency.
• Monitor financial statements, forecasts, and key performance indicators.
• Improve efficiency across sales, finance, service, and parts.
• Optimize staffing levels and departmental productivity.
• Ensure compliance with manufacturer standards and applicable regulations.

Customer Experience

• Deliver an exceptional luxury automotive customer experience.
• Maintain strong customer satisfaction and retention.
• Build long-term relationships with customers and the local community.
• Maintain high standards of professionalism, transparency, and customer service.

Qualifications

• Proven success in automotive dealership leadership.
• Previous General Manager, General Sales Manager, or senior dealership management experience.
• Strong understanding of new and used vehicle operations, F&I, fixed operations, and dealership accounting.
• Demonstrated ability to increase sales, improve gross profit, and control expenses.
• Experience leading, motivating, and developing successful dealership teams.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing, CRM systems, and inventory management.
• Ability to analyze financial statements and manage dealership performance.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Luxury automotive or franchised dealership experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Tekion, VinSolutions, or VinCue is a plus.
