About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Licensed Therapist – Family Centered Treatment (FCT) to provide family-focused therapy to children and families in Cincinnati and Lebanon, OH. -> Key Responsibilities

• Provide Family Centered Treatment® to children and families in their natural environments.
• Conduct mental health assessments, intake evaluations, and comprehensive family assessments.
• Develop treatment plans and short- and long-term family goals with measurable outcomes.
• Provide individual, family, and crisis-focused therapeutic interventions.
• Monitor family progress and client engagement throughout treatment.
• Participate in Child and Family Team Meetings and weekly clinical case reviews.
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, assessments, monthly reports, and discharge documentation.
• Maintain an average caseload of approximately 4 FCT families.
• Provide at least two multi-hour face-to-face sessions per week with each family system, except during discharge titration.
• Work a flexible schedule based on family needs, including evenings and weekends.
• Maintain compliance with ODMHAS, COA, FCT, agency, and professional licensure standards.
• Testify in court when subpoenaed or requested.
• Participate in FCT training and certification requirements.
• Collaborate with families, community providers, and other stakeholders to support successful outcomes.

-> Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant behavioral health field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with children and families .
• Active LPC license required.
• Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build rapport and engage families effectively.
• Knowledge of community resources, child/adult development, treatment planning, and evidence-based interventions.
• Ability to respond appropriately to crisis situations and make timely decisions.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively with culturally diverse populations.
• Ability to accept feedback and adapt to changing clinical needs.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification, or ability to obtain.
• Valid driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, and valid auto insurance.
• Ability to travel throughout the community.
• Successful completion of required background checks.

-> FCT Training & Certification

The selected candidate will complete required Family Centered Treatment training, including:

• Wheels of Change online training within 8 weeks of hire.
• Required readings and online coursework.
• Field-based competency certification with real clients.
• Full FCT certification targeted within 6–9 months of hire.
• Ongoing certification and recertification requirements.

This is an office- and community-based position . The Therapist must be flexible to meet families when needed, which may include evenings and weekends . Travel throughout the community is required.
