As a Security Officer Theft Deterrence in BEVERLY HILLS, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Security Officer at a luxury retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service to guests and team members. You will support loss prevention efforts, communicate professionally, and use technology to document activity. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.60 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon 10:00 AM - 06:30 PM Tue 10:00 AM - 06:30 PM Thur 10:00 AM - 06:30 PM Fri 10:00 AM - 06:30 PM Sat 10:00 AM - 06:30 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a luxury retail location. Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, stock areas, and perimeter as assigned. Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel. Support a welcoming luxury shopping environment while helping to deter theft, unauthorized access, and disruptive behavior. Minimum Requirements: Loss prevention experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
