In this hands-on role, you’ll assemble components using drawings and work instructions, inspect completed units, and make adjustments to ensure each product meets specifications, tolerances, and customer requirements. You’ll be part of a collaborative team where quality, safety, and continuous improvement are at the center of the work. 1st shift, Monday-Thursday, 6:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. What your day-to-day will look like Read and interpret schematics, diagrams, work orders, bills of materials, and assembly instructions to determine material and production requirements. Assemble, align, position, and fasten components, parts, and units using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, templates, and other equipment. Measure parts and verify dimensions, tolerances, and clearances using precision measuring instruments such as calipers. Inspect parts and completed assemblies for surface defects, quality issues, and conformance to specifications. Maintain a clean, organized work area and support inventory control for tools, materials, and production supplies. This posting outlines the primary responsibilities of the role but is not all-inclusive; additional duties may be assigned in alignment with business needs. To thrive in this role, you have High school diploma or equivalent. Assembly experience with the ability to read and interpret wire diagrams. Experience building wire harnesses and cable kits preferred. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and safely operate power tools and equipment. Strong communication, teamwork, and ability to learn and execute tasks quickly. Candidates should be willing to work in non-climate-controlled environments and inclement weather if required or if applicable.
