We are looking for a detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to support day-to-day financial operations for a growing organization in Minnesota. This contract position has the potential to become permanent and is ideal for someone who can manage accounting functions independently, maintain accurate records, and keep billing and payment activity running smoothly. The role offers the opportunity to contribute immediately while building toward a longer-term position with the team.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the complete bookkeeping cycle, ensuring financial records are current, organized, and accurate.

• Process vendor invoices and payments in a timely manner while maintaining strong control over accounts payable activity.

• Manage customer billing, monitor incoming payments, and follow up on outstanding balances to support healthy accounts receivable performance.

• Maintain and update accounting data in QuickBooks, including daily transaction entry and account maintenance.

• Reconcile bank accounts and other key financial records to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.

• Prepare routine financial reports that help leadership track business performance and cash flow.

• Support month-end accounting activities by reviewing transactions, confirming balances, and closing records accurately.

• Proven experience handling full charge bookkeeping responsibilities with minimal supervision.
• Hands-on proficiency with QuickBooks for day-to-day accounting and recordkeeping tasks.
• Strong working knowledge of accounts payable processes, including invoice review and payment coordination.
• Solid experience managing accounts receivable, billing activity, and collection follow-up.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail when maintaining financial records.
• Ability to organize multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Clear communication skills and a detail-oriented approach to working with internal teams and external contacts.
