Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and provide mental health diagnoses to formulate effective treatment plans tailored to meet the needs of each patient.

• Implement short-term counseling strategies utilizing evidence-based modalities to help patients address challenges related to depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, addiction, and other behavioral health issues.

• Manage crisis situations by providing immediate intervention, facilitating de-escalation, and coordinating with public mental health crisis response teams as necessary.

• Offer follow-up assessments and develop prevention plans post-crisis, ensuring continuity of care and collaboration with external agencies.

• Engage with multidisciplinary team members to discuss case plans, progress, and strategies for effective patient care delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The focus of your work will be on a diverse range of clientele, including adults and families experiencing varied psychological and emotional difficulties. Your role will also involve addressing sensitive and complex issues such as domestic violence, substance use disorders, and acute trauma responses. With an emphasis on recovery-oriented services, you will employ therapeutic techniques that foster resilience and promote healthy coping mechanisms.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in behavioral science accompanied by at least two years of post-licensure experience.

• Active and relevant BBS licensure as an LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC is required.

• Demonstrated clinical competency in providing mental health services to individuals, families, and groups.

• A thorough understanding of various mental health disorders along with evidence-based treatment approaches.

• Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to a reliable and insured means of transportation.
