Watts & Associates is working discreetly with a highly regarded Am Law 100 global law firm seeking a Partner level Corporate Transactions Attorney to join its New York NY office. This is a senior transactional role focused on complex cross border corporate matters for multinational clients, with an emphasis on disciplined deal execution, stakeholder coordination, and practical legal judgment through signing and closing. The firm offers a sophisticated international platform with deep corporate capabilities and close collaboration across offices, practices and jurisdictions. The Opportunity You will lead and manage complex cross border transactions including carve outs, spin offs, post acquisition integrations, global expansions and legal entity rationalizations. The work includes drafting and negotiating stock and asset purchase agreements, coordinating input from local counsel and specialist teams, resolving legal issues as they arise, and synthesizing high volume comments from clients and stakeholders to keep matters moving efficiently. Ideal Candidate Profile The firm is seeking a Partner level Corporate Transactions Attorney with: Admission to the New York Bar At least 5 years of experience as an attorney with a global law firm At least 5 years advising, coordinating and executing complex cross border transactions Experience managing cross border deals as the lead associate or matter lead Strong drafting and negotiation skills across complex deal documents and ancillary agreements Why This Opportunity Stands Out This role offers meaningful responsibility for an attorney who wants to sit close to the commercial center of major transactions and take ownership of execution across jurisdictions and stakeholder groups.
