Senior AccountantLocation: Ewing, NJ, Hybrid (4 days onsite/week) Type: Direct Hire, Full Time Schedule: Mon–Fri, 8:00am–5:00pm (40 hours/week) Compensation: $100,000–$130,000+ plus bonus potential Industry: Generic Pharmaceuticals / ManufacturingOverview System One is partnering with a generic pharmaceutical and biotech research company to hire a detail-oriented, hands-on Senior Accountant to support core accounting and financial reporting, including investor reporting. This role will own key elements of the close process, maintain general ledger integrity, and drive accurate, timely management reporting in a controlled, regulated manufacturing environment. This is a hybrid role requiring 4 days onsite per week, with one day working from home (this can be variable and decided by you).ResponsibilitiesLead/support monthly, quarterly, and annual close, including preparing and posting journal entriesMaintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper cutoffPrepare/review accruals, prepaids, reclasses, and recurring close entriesPerform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve reconciling itemsPrepare internal management reports, variance analysis, and investor reporting schedulesSupport financial statement preparation and audit readinessPartner cross-functionally with operations and business teamsSupport ERP/SAP initiatives and continuous process improvementsHelp ensure compliance with IFRS, company policies, and applicable regulatory requirementsRequirements4–8 years of relevant accounting experience (senior-level ownership of close/reporting processes)Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA strongly preferredGeneral ledger accounting and month-end close experienceGeneric pharmaceutical industry experience (required)ERP experience (SAP preferred)Strong Excel, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skillsPreferred background in pharma, life sciences, manufacturing, or other regulated industries in addition to generic pharmaceuticalsSystem One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
