Job Description
The Commercial Insurance Producer is responsible for acquiring and managing insurance clients primarily within the small business sector. This role involves preparing policy quotes, driving sales, and fostering strong client relationships while working collaboratively as part of a sales team. The producer will use CRM software and insurance quoting platforms daily to meet targets focused on premium volume, new client acquisition, and cross-selling.
Responsibilities
- Acquire new small business clients for commercial insurance policies
- Prepare accurate insurance quotes tailored to client needs
- Manage and grow client relationships to enhance retention and cross-selling
- Meet sales targets including premium volume, new client count, and cross-selling ratios
- Utilize CRM and insurance quoting software to track and manage sales activities
- Collaborate with the sales team to maximize business opportunities
- Maintain minimal or no travel while effectively servicing clients
Required Qualifications
- State Property and Casualty Insurance License
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in commercial insurance sales
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and market
