We are currently looking for a motivated Shipping and Receiving Clerk with the desire, skills, and experience to become a part of our growing enterprise. As a small, young, and fast-moving company, we are looking for a like-minded candidate that wishes to join us in our expansion. The position is for full-time employment.

SUMMARY: This position is responsible for all of Teguar’s parts and completed units inventory as well as tracking the movement of all equipment and preparing equipment for the production line. Focus will be on product packaging/unpacking and shipping in accordance with established procedures and/or commercial standards.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Processes all in and outbound shipments including, but not limited to sorting, logging, opening, de-labeling, labeling, storing, packing, and shipping.
• Picks and prepares the parts and units needed for assembly.
• Maintains inventory organization to facilitate efficient inventory retrieval through the use of the company ERP and assigned inventory item locations.
• Ensures that proper equipment, manuals, and accessories are shipped with correct order, including proper packing and labeling based on standards.
• Processes & prepares shipping and receiving documentation according to current Teguar's procedures.
• Inspects all incoming freight for damage; follows-up with purchasing to resolve any damaged freight issues.
• Meets expectations for departmental KPI metrics.
• Assists in maintaining material inventory levels by completion of inventory counts.
• Ensures proper equipment, manuals, and accessories are shipped with correct order.
• Maintains safety and housekeeping standards in shipping area.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required; and 6 months to 1 year related experience and/or training.
• Excellent written, verbal communication and customer facing skills. Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Familiarity with shipping and handling as well as inventory practices.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to work with Microsoft Word, Excel and Microsoft Outlook.
• Eagerness to learn about our products and our markets.
• A true passion for learning about and leveraging new technology.
• Highly motivated individual who is a self-starter, doesn't require constant instruction to learn, and is interested in continuously expanding their skill set.

Physical Demands:

This is a very physical position. Will be continually and frequently required to sit, stand, walk, climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel, and crawl. Must be able to continually utilize hand and finger dexterity, talk, hear, utilize visual acuity to operate equipment, read and process technical information and use a keyboard. Must be able lift/push/carry items up to 50 pounds approximately 75-80% of the time.
