Shift: Days, 12 hours (07:00-19:00)

Hours per week: 36-40

License/Certifications: Current NM RN license or Compact license, BLS, ACLS, TNCC, CPIDE, NIH certification, PALS (additional certifications may be required based on units)

Experience: Relevant RN experience required

What You'll Do

• Obtain and document initial patient assessments, establishing priorities based on age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs
• Reassess patients regularly to monitor progress and identify intervention needs
• Develop and implement individualized care plans within established standards
• Make clinical decisions based on evaluations, modifying plans as needed
• Participate in patient and family education, discharge planning, and health promotion activities
• Perform Point of Care testing procedures
• Collaborate with healthcare team members, delegate tasks, and ensure quality patient care support
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and staff to promote high satisfaction and teamwork
• Adhere to safety policies, participate in unit growth, and support organizational goals

What You Need

• Current New Mexico RN license or active Compact license
• BLS, ACLS, TNCC, CPIDE, NIH, and PALS certifications (additional certifications may be required)
• At least 1-2 years of recent experience as a registered nurse in a relevant setting
• Strong communication and clinical skills, with a focus on patient safety and satisfaction

• Experience in a hospital or acute care environment
• Flexibility to float across units as needed

About the Assignment This position is based in a leading facility in Santa Fe, NM, providing critical care services to diverse patient populations. The RN will work the dayshift (7AM 7PM), delivering safe, efficient, and compassionate care. The assignment is scheduled from August 24, 2026, to November 21, 2026, with opportunities to extend or transition to other roles based on your preferences and organizational needs.
