PrideStaff is recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established manufacturing company in central Palm Beach County. As a Quality Technician, you won't be stuck behind a computer screen all day. You will be on the production floor every day, working directly with raw materials, in-process welds, fabrications, and final assemblies. You will use precision tools—like calipers, micrometers, thread gages, and protractors—to ensure that what is built is built to last.

What You'll Do Everyday

• Inspect & Verify: Examine incoming materials, first-piece fabrications, in-process welding (checking for penetration and porosity), and final assemblies against blueprints and shop specifications.
• Master the Tools: Regularly use tape measures, calipers, micrometers, and thread gages to ensure 100% accuracy to the print.
• Own the Documentation: Track your findings on Inprocess Inspection and Final Audit forms, signing off on the production Traveler to move the job forward.
• Collaborate: Partner with fabricators, welders, and assembly teams to clearly communicate specs, troubleshoot issues, and elevate problems before they leave the floor.

What You Bring to the Team

• The Right Mindset: A strong work ethic, great attendance, flexibility, and a genuine eagerness to learn new processes.
• Technical Aptitude: The ability to read and interpret shop documents, blueprints, and spec sheets. Strong basic math skills (fractions, decimals, and whole numbers) are essential.
• Education & Experience: A High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent blend of on-the-job training and experience.
• Communication: Clear, precise communication skills to help floor personnel understand quality standards.
