Quality Inspector

The Quality Inspector ensures that products meet stringent internal quality requirements and industry standards by performing detailed inspections, tests, and documentation throughout the manufacturing process. This role supports quality assurance and compliance activities, maintains and troubleshoots inspection equipment, and collaborates closely with production teams to drive continuous improvement and maintain a strong culture of safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test products in accordance with internal quality requirements, procedures, and applicable standards.
• Support and participate in internal quality and compliance auditing activities as directed by Quality and Compliance leadership.
• Maintain, test, and troubleshoot all testing instrumentation devices to ensure accurate and reliable performance.
• Log and maintain calibration activities and records for all precision measuring tools and testing equipment.
• Document and report inspection results, non-conformities, and quality issues in a clear, concise, and timely manner.
• Create and maintain data sets to be analyzed for production trends and indicators critical to product quality.
• Participate in quality assurance training and provide support to factory personnel to reinforce quality standards and best practices.
• Support inspection of incoming goods during receiving to verify consistency, integrity, and suitability of build materials.
• Use precision measuring tools and equipment, including calipers, micrometers, gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and surface scanners, to assess dimensional accuracy and other product attributes.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Thousand Oaks, CA. The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
