Title Dental assistant Job Description Clinical Support: Provide expert chairside assistance using four-handed dentistry techniques during restorations, extractions, root canals, and more. Imaging & Diagnostics: Take and develop dental X-rays and utilize 3D scanners for advanced diagnostic and prosthetic planning. Patient Care: Prepare treatment rooms, ensure patient comfort throughout procedures, and provide clear post-treatment care education. Sterilization & Safety: Maintain the highest standards of infection control, adhering to OSHA standards, aseptic techniques, and proper sterilization procedures. Records Management: Accurately manage patient records and medical documentation within EMR systems while maintaining strict HIPAA compliance. Office Synergy: Assist with patient flow and appointment coordination, acting as a bridge between clinical care and front-office reception when needed. Salary Range full-time $19 - $22 per hour - Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience. Shift & Schedule To be discussed during the interview Requirements Dentrix Eaglesoft General Dentistry X-ray / Radiography Certification Experience: Proven experience in a dental clinic environment with a strong grasp of general dentistry procedures. Technical Proficiency: Skilled in EMR systems (Dentrix or Eaglesoft preferred; Epic is a plus) and familiarity with 3D scanning technology. Certifications: Ability to safely perform X-ray procedures following all radiation safety guidelines. Knowledge Base: Deep understanding of dental anatomy, medical terminology, and medical coding practices. Specialty Skills: Experience in specialized assisting for endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry.
