Steel Handler Details:
- Temp-to-Hire position
- $ 18.00 to $ 22.00 / hour
- Full Time work available
- First Shift (Monday through Friday from 06:00am to 03:00pm)
- Receive, inspect, unload, and store steel coils.
- Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and material-handling equipment.
- Stage and deliver materials to production areas.
- Track inventory and material locations using Plex.
- Support press operators with coil changes and production needs
- Complete safety inspections and maintain a clean work area
- Report equipment, material, or safety concerns
- Assist other departments as needed
Steel Handler Qualifications:
- Manufacturing, warehouse, forklift, crane, or material-handling experience required
- Reliable work history
- Strong attention to detail and safety
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and climb throughout the shift
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
