Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to understand the mental and emotional health needs of each client.

• Design and execute individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique goals and circumstances of clients.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities including cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and play therapy for children and adolescents.

• Monitor client progress through regular check-ins, adapting treatment strategies as required to maximize therapeutic outcomes.

• Provide crisis intervention services to clients in acute distress, facilitating immediate support and stabilization as necessary.

• Maintain thorough and confidential client documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists, social workers, and specialists to create a multi-faceted support system for clients.

• Stay informed on the latest advancements in mental health research and therapeutic techniques to enhance service delivery.

• Participate in regular supervision meetings and professional training sessions to continually enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

• Uphold ethical practice standards as per the guidelines set forth by national and state licensing boards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on a diverse client population, which may include children, adolescents, and families facing various mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment disorders. This role involves not only one-on-one counseling but also family and group therapy sessions aimed at building resilience and improving interpersonal relationships.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field is required.

• Possession of current state licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LMHC, LICSW) is essential.

• Demonstratable clinical assessment and diagnostic expertise with strong skills in intelligent problem-solving.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with the ability to connect empathically with clients.
