Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct preliminary interviews with clients to assess their mental, behavioral, and emotional health, documenting findings comprehensively from initial consultation through to treatment completion.

• Develop tailored intervention and recovery plans for diverse client groups, including individuals, couples, families, and support groups.
\n
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based techniques to engage clients effectively.
\n
• Regularly monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure positive outcomes.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including mental health specialists, physicians, and social workers, to provide comprehensive care that addresses all facets of clients' well-being.

• Maintain ongoing communication with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers involved in the care of clients admitted to hospitals.

• Identify and intervene in behaviors that may impede recovery, supporting clients in overcoming obstacles.

• Assist family members and primary caregivers by providing education and resources to navigate mental health challenges.

In this role, you will work with a diverse range of clients, catering to various age groups, backgrounds, and mental health conditions. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW within the state of Washington.

• A successful score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document clinical information accurately and effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous professional experience as a mental health counselor, preferably in outpatient settings.

• A solid foundation of knowledge regarding medications prescribed by medical professionals and their potential effects on mental health.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges between $80,000 and $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
