Forklift Operator

Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to manage the movement, stacking, and storage of materials throughout our facility. You will be responsible for operating powered industrial trucks to load and unload trailers, move inventory to racking systems, and supply production or shipping lines efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Equipment Operation: Safely operate sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks, or order pickers to transport goods across the warehouse.

• Loading & Unloading: Unload incoming shipments from trailers and containers; load outbound freight ensuring proper weight distribution and secure placement.

• Inventory Stacking & Placement: Move palletized stock to designated high-bay racking systems and floor locations using RF scanners to log inventory movements into the WMS.

• Safety & Pre-Shift Inspections: Perform daily safety inspections of equipment (brakes, hydraulics, fluid levels, tires) and document any maintenance needs before operation.

• Quality & Order Accuracy: Verify shipment details against packing slips/bills of lading (BOL); inspect pallets for damage or structural instability before transport.
