We are looking for a detail-oriented Receptionist to support daily front-desk operations for a banking organization in Merrillville, Indiana. This is a Contract position suited for someone who enjoys creating a welcoming environment, managing communications efficiently, and keeping administrative tasks organized. The ideal candidate brings strong customer service skills, confidence using Microsoft Office, and at least 2 years of relevant experience in a receptionist or front-office role.

Responsibilities:
• Welcome visitors in a courteous and attentive manner and direct them to the appropriate person or department.
• Answer incoming telephone calls promptly, provide accurate information when appropriate, and record detailed messages for follow-up.
• Maintain an orderly reception area that reflects a well-maintained and service-focused office environment.
• Support routine administrative activities such as scheduling, document handling, and general office coordination.
• Use Microsoft Office applications to prepare basic correspondence, update records, and assist with day-to-day clerical needs.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure guests, calls, and front-desk inquiries are handled efficiently throughout the workday.• At least 2 years of experience in a receptionist, front-desk, or similar administrative support position.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a courteous telephone manner.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while remaining organized and attentive to detail.
• Demonstrated customer service skills and a welcoming presence.
• Availability to work a Monday through Friday schedule in Merrillville, Indiana.
