About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP, Industry Lead, Data Licensing to spearhead the management of a strategic data partnership portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team that oversees relationships with data, measurement, and insights partners, with a focus on developing and expanding commercial strategies. This role demands a leader with a deep understanding of data licensing, particularly in the commercialization of transaction, audience, and measurement data. The VP will be tasked with owning revenue performance, coaching the team through complex negotiations, and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that partner needs and market trends are translated into scalable commercial opportunities. Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years of people management experience and 8 years of sales experience in data licensing, data partnerships, measurement, digital media, advertising, or related industries. The role requires a proven track record in developing, negotiating, and growing commercial data licensing partnerships, as well as a strong understanding of the data and measurement ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have experience with complex commercial agreements, media performance metrics, and advertising KPIs. Proficiency in Salesforce and Excel, advanced fluency with AI tools, and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience are also essential. Preferred qualifications include experience with syndicated data, transaction data, consumer purchase data, and a strong network within the advertising and programmatic data ecosystem.
