The retail collection is further expanded with flagship locations for Aritzia, H&M, PRIMARK, Uniqlo, Sephora and Zara; as well as the Toys R Us global flagship, the only standalone location in the U.S, and the world's first and only "candy department store," IT'SUGAR.The main purpose of the Paralegal is:To provide assistance in the preparation and drafting of lease agreements, abstracting leases, lease administration, service agreements, event agreements, and related legal documents and to provide administrative support to the Legal Department.Primary responsibilities:Prepare initial draft and manage letters of intent, lease agreements, lease amendments and related documents for potential and current tenantsModify agreements and documents using both Word and PDFLease administration, including tracking deadlines and lease provisionsAbstracting leasesCreating and maintaining lease review charts for key lease provisionsPreparing and sending tenant noticesPrepare event agreements and service agreementsPrepare legal document binders for General CounselAnswer phones, open mail and place follow-up callsSchedule meetings and coordinate calendars for the legal departmentDesired qualifications:Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate preferredMinimum of 3 years of paralegal experience with a leasing emphasis preferredExperience in the preparation of lease agreements and/or related legal documentsAbility to work independently and to manage multiple prioritiesExperience in MS Office, MS Excel and PDF formattingExceptional organizational and communication skillsAmerican Dream is an equal-opportunity employer and is committed to providing a workplace free from harassment or discrimination.
